FINALLY-The JONES ends! My review of a Matt Newsome Box Pleat
First off,
Don't harang about pictures. I will only post a picture once I have a matching pair of diced hose to go with my new kilt.
So here it is. Short and sweet. This kilt that MAtt has made for me is so AWESOME on so many levels. First and foremost, this is a subsett tartan for Clan Brown of which MAtt helped me design. The traditional Clan Brown Tartan was too Red for my liking, so I gave MAtt my idea and he designed it on his tartan weaver software. I have asked that it be registered as an Official subb-sett to the Clan Brown tartan called "Browns of the South East". I actually received an email from the BAron's personal secretary this morning requesting final info before a decision is made. I didn't realize it would be this big a deal....Anyway, the sett is BEAUTIFUL. This is also going to be the kilt I wear for my mine and my wife's marriage ceremony (We did the courthouse thing 7 years ago-Figured its time to do the other part as well). Thats going to make this kilt a legacy keeper and something that I wear with TOTAL pride!!!
Now the kilt. Its perfect. No other way to elaborate and spin it anymore. Matt has achieved perfection in what he is making. If you don't have one, then you are truly missing out. This is one of my very few prized possessions. Thank you Matt.
OK, OK, OK...I'll post some pics on Saturday.

First... Congratulations on both the kilt and the tartan. Sounds really wonderful. Notice I said, "sounds" which leads me to:
Second... of course we're going to harangue you about pictures! ![Very Happy](http://www.xmarksthescot.com/forum/images/smilies/icon_biggrin.gif)

It's not a review without a pic, it's only a peep! ![Laughing](http://www.xmarksthescot.com/forum/images/smilies/icon_lol.gif)
But I am sure from seeing other examples of Matt's work that it is everything you say it is.

Well, I'm usually the one rolling my eyes at the "we need pics" comments, but since it is a new tartan that you and Matt designed... we need pics! If you just want to take a pic of the kilt without you wearing it, that will suffice until you find a proper pair of hose.

You're not exactly making my wait any easier here. I've still got a real long wait before mine arrives. I guess I'll pass the time by annoying you with pic requests. TTIWWOP

Well, I know what the kilt looks like, and even I want to see the pics! I'm especially eager to see it paired with some of your diced hose.
