Precisely. My first two X-kilts were made from Cotton Poplin, which although heavy enough, does not make the nicest kilt, and wrinkles horribly.
The third probably had some Lycra in it, as it just didn't "feel" right. It was also pretty lightweight, and has been sentenced to "lounge" duty.
