    Tartan: Young Modern
    Weight: 16oz
Yardage: 8yd (give or take at the kilters suggestion)
Customization: Was thinking knife pleated, but after seeing the kingussie that Ryan Ross showed in Post #20, the indecision is upon me. (The symmetry is intriguing.)
Why: Family tartan. If I could only have one kilt, I want to be able to where it anywhere, be it to the store or to a white-tie ball, and have it last long enough for my kids.

HELP: I don't want to thread jack, so can someone PM me a thread that discusses the different pleats. Preferably with some info on how the kingussie lays when seated compared to a regular knife. I couldn't find one when I looked.
