I tried to ask my inner curmudgeon before posting, but he sprayed me with the garden hose…

Heather,
We have all read of the problems between your employer and other established Kiltmakers in Edinburgh. We have followed the bills in your Parliament discussing these issues.
I will visit Scotland myself in June to see for myself.
Until then a warm welcome to you. It will be a welcome addition to our forum to hear the facts from the source.

Heather I give you a personal from South Wales.
As you look through archived posts you will no doubt come across many references to Heritage of Scotland and other Gold Bros establishments.
It is only fair that you have a right of reply just as other kilt related businesses do here and maybe you will be able to answer or correct anything you think has been said unfairly.

Welcome.
I purchased a traditional 8 yard kilt in the Rob Roy (film) tartan from Heritage of Scotland when I was visiting Edinburgh in 2006. Service, both in town and on my return to the US, to include responding to a request I had, was excellent, as was the fit and construction.

Excellent! I do look forward to this. As a bit of an observer and student of marketing, and especially customer service, I think your initiative in joining this forum is an excellent one. Well done.
Graham.
