Scottish Parliament ten years old today

Scottish Devolution is 10 years old today.
A decade has passed, when the good people of Scotland went to the ballot box on 6th May 1999 and ellected 129 MSP's to act on our best interests
(Well I won't go into that). It would be Scotland's first Parliament since the act of union 1707.
I think its great Scotland having its own Parliament. I would like to hear your thoughts on the matter.

Well they have made a better job of it than I thought they would. It is a shame I can not say the same for the parliament building!

Just because you are paranoid doesn't mean they aren't out to get you.

That's funny, I like it! And they have even managed to put the roof on the right way this time!

its the first Parliament for 292 years and they do a better job than some would've have thought with regards to keeping certain hospitals and a&e`s open in the central belt

Yes the Parliament has been not bad, but has made a few mistakes as well. Closing down schools, hospitals departments, relocating vital health centres.
On the whole, it's good for Scotland to have its own Parliament.

The more local a government becomes, the better.

as for the building well its only a shell(a expensive shell) its the folk inside it that matter
