Welcome to the forum. We have members from the Carolinas. One of them should be able to help you with a piper. Matt Newsome, curator, of the Scottish Tartans Museum in Franklin, NC is one who immediately comes to mind (I live on the West Coast, so I am not familiar with the distances between you two.) Here's Matt's member page. http://www.xmarksthescot.com/forum/member.php?u=1465
Congratulations on your upcoming nuptials.

from coastal North Carolina. The generally accepted origin of Dodd(s) is the border country, where they were reivers on the English side of the border. I have been able to trace my Dodds ancestry back to County Antrim in Ireland. When James I united England and Scotland many of the border rievers were sent to the plantations in Ireland but I have not been able to trace back that far. So to honor my Dodds connection I wear County Antrim, from the Marton Mills County Crest tartans.
