Well, we could meet at my tent for water, but we could also meet later for a pint (and, something to eat, maybe) at the Tilted Kilt just a bit farther down Highway 6 from the games.

Some additional Houston Games info
Amongst the exhibitors this year are The Coritani (www.texascoritani.com), who re-enact the daily life of the Celts in Iron Age Britain. All manner of Scottish, Irish, and English festival foods will also be on offer along with Guinness and St Arnold's beer, snow cones, kettle corn, and other tasty treats. Many of the goods vendors offer Scottish, Celtic and Renaissance apparel, jewelry, and heraldry. The musical acts perform a wide range of traditional folk music as part of their repetoire, some with a modern twist.
The Welcome Ceilidh will be on Friday, May 15th, 7pm at the Tilted Kilt on Hwy 6 just north of Westheimer Rd.
Look for us on the back porch or just follow the music.
For performers, places, and times Saturday and Sunday, go to: http://www.houstonhighlandgames.org/schedules.htm
On Saturday, make sure that you arrive before 12 noon so that you can enjoy the spectacle of the Parade of the Massed Pipe Bands that officially kicks off the Games.
On Sunday, Walt MacFadden, pastor of St. Brendan's Celtic Church will be presiding over the Kirking O' The Tartans church service at 10am.
A word to the wise: Hats for the sun, warm weather clothes, comfortable shoes, sunblock, a kerchief for your neck, and a light jacket or rain jacket will make your visit to the Games worry-free.
Admission tickets can be purchased in advance via PayPal at http://www.houstonhighlandgames.org/aboutGames.htm.
Senior, student, 2-day, and children's discounts are available.

Change #1001, I'm going to be at the Crowne Plaza now for the games. Again, I will have the Boyd kilt (red), green kilt hose, white shirt w/ tie and black balmoral. My wife is 5'-3" and is hispanic. I'd like us to support Terry and others in the athletics (my piping event is EARLY Sat) and I'll find you guys at the MacIntyre tent as well.
See ya there!
