    Great movie and a shout-out

Just got back from the new Star Trek movie with my darling wife. We're both old enough to be "real" trekkies that cut our teeth on TOS in prime time. In a word....awesome! I rarely see movies more than once, but I'm sure I'll pay to see this one on the big screen again.

For the occasion, I wore my modern MacDonald and my Star Trek communicator kilt pin.

As we left the theater, a young lady working the ticket booth turned up the volume on her intercom and shouted "Love your Kilt!" I smiled and waved...and everyone in line smiled and waved back.

I went and saw it on Friday, wore the XMarks Tartan, I figured it has both Gold and Blue in it, I did not want to wear anything Red, cause we all know what happens to those guys. I thought it was the best Star Trek movie to date, my twin brother wants me to go with him again on our birthday next week. Had lots of positive reactions from many people at the theater.

My wife and I went to see it this afternoon. We both thouroughly enjoyed it. While we were in line for the tickets, an older woman walked by looked at the kilt and said "That's awesome" and kept walking. I was wearing the basic Black Watch kilt.

That was a great movie, really well done I thought. I grew up on Star Trek and I am happy that it turned out so well! I can't wait to see what they do next.
