Visions of a side business, taking in "kilt laundry" for those of us too poor, or with no space....

Not really... if you EVER wet wash a kilt, you know that it feels a little 'odd' when it dries (and having the pleats all washed out doesn't help much). When you iron the pleats (and the whole kilt) back into shape, I haven't really noticed a MAJOR change in the hand of the material.
Is there ABSOLUTELY NO change? No... there's a slight change, but only so much that YOU (Barb), Matt, Steve or I (or other kiltmakers) might notice as we work with the material DAILY.
Barb... if YOU have a wool kilt of yours that you'd like to try this on (or evern just a hand wash), I'd be interested to hear your review of the process and if it changed the hand of YOUR material.
The kilts I washed were material from Lochcarron, MM and Strathmore.
