I like the kilt alot.
Did you take a pleat shot?
Looks like a full apron? What type of fasterns did you use-velcro or straps?

I saw one in Orange and Black at the Savannah games last week end, and believe me you couldn't hide anywhere. It almost blinded you in the sunshine
it was so bright.

Wow, I didn't expect this much interest.

I'll get a pleat shot and some other detail shots soon. I use velcro for the fasteners because that's way more comfortable underneath a pack belt, and there's nothing to bang around in the washer/dryer.

"I also made the sporran. I'm calling it hiking sporran version 1.0. Olive canvas with paracord tassels. It's roomy enough for lots of stuff, and has a top-mounted zipper for easy access."

I hate to take close-up shots of the sporran 'cause the stitching is not at all up to standards, but I'll try to post some anyway.

Mighty nice. I will have to consider getting me a Tiger-Stripe kilt made sometime...What is the fabric weight?

OK...there's been a lot of interest in the fabric so here goes.

It's poly/cotton blend. Probably about 10 ounces. I get all my camo fabric from a local fabric store that for some reason carries loads of camo, both military and hunting patterns. I've located this site that carries a great selection. Just be sure to always go for the poly/cotton blends...100% cotton just won't work.
