    And I still wear pants, too.

    As much as I love the kilt, I will still always love my Levi's 501 button-fly jeans.

    My last pair of 501s died about 2 weeks ago, I miss them much. I had them over 10 years. (The pair of 501s I bought last year died in under a year)

    Yeah, they really don't make 'em like they used to. Still, damn comfy!

    You know... For pants.

    But that does bring up one of the other joys of kilts: they will never wear out at the knees or crotch!

    I dare say the fly has other advantages, not quite as nice as a kilt, but along similar lines. I might replace them when it starts getting cool out again.
