But you have to admit all white must look grand, if just for a little while.
And with his $$$$$$$$$$ wrinkles would be the least concern.

I said I must take a look so I did. Here is his new shop in Thistle Street -

and this is Thistle Street -

Don't be put off by the "To Let" signs. It is actually quite an up and coming little street with small shops and bars and for anyone who doesn't know it it is between George Street and Queen Street.

I went in and, yes, Hamish's photograph is indeed there on the wall. Two of them in fact. He has a sale on at the moment so I would advise Hamish to get in there as soon as possible as I am sure prices will be back to normal by the July invasion. There was some very nice stuff on the rails but I managed to make an exit without purchasing. It must be my Edinburgh thrift that saved me!

    You're a stronger man than I!

And thanks for the pics. I'm determined to get there one day. In the meantime, the pictures are really appreciated!

The strange thing is I have walked past Thistle St many times without walking down it! (Maybe because it doesn't has all the pubs that Rose St has! )

I will definitely make sure I don't miss it on my next visit!
