The clogs you describe should be fine, your first duty is, of course, to protect your feet. Though I don't have PVD or foot problems, I work with folks that do. I wear a pair of Merrills which are black leather and if I can find a pic, I'll post it for you.

Thank you for your reply. I agree, my health comes first and if my choice of footwear is not traditional, oh well. I really don't need to wear something just to be "correct" if it going to be uncomfortable and make the condition worse.
