Where exactly is the Scots Dyke? If time allows, I'd like to see it when I come over in July.
The eastern end of Scots Dike is close to the A7 trunk road through the Borders from Carlisle through Langholm, Hawick, Selkirk and Galashiels to Edinburgh. There is a parking area just at the border, at the southern end of the Canonbie bypass section, and a footpath takes you up to the start of Scotch Dike from there. It is only about five minutes walk from the car park, but you would need to allow more time if you wanted to continue on along the full four miles of Scots Dike.
