			USPS Kilts

Last evening as I was going into a Tai restaurant a gentleman stopped me and commented on the kilt I was wearing. He said he works for the USPS and that now they have a kilt they can wear due to the efforts of a postal carrier in Seattle. I was aware of the postal carrier's effort, but did not know they were successful. How did I miss that one? He said that he did not wear one since they looked every bit as badly as do the shorts. I can visualize a blue klutzy kilt that no one would want to wear. There must be a tartan for USPS?

As Rosanna dana dana said..."Never Mind" My aging eyes saw UPS...not USPS....sorry. Lots of threads on the USPS Kilt efforts.
And, since I misread it, this recent one on UPS tartans http://www.xmarksthescot.com/forum/u...804/index.html

I'm confused. Are we talking about UPS or USPS? The title of the thread is UPS, but a postal carrier would work for the USPS.
 What's going on here?

I was under the impression that the USPS did not allow their carriers to wear kilts, but this gentleman who claims to be one says they did allow it. So I'm interested in finding out what's the story.
