Earth Tone kilt hose in the heat

For what it's worth--since the traditional Scottish look is not my main goal--in the hot, steamy summers we get here, if not wearing sandals, then I'm fine with standard ankle socks.

Somebody posted some of their crazier styles a while back and I remembered seeing some that actually looked pretty nice. If you click on the "Hunter" color, they even have a picture of a man in a kilt and boots.

I went ahead and ordered some tan ones. 8.00$ plus free first class shipping isn't too shabby. I'll post a review when I get them. Hopefully they're tall enough for my skinny legs.
