I will echo the appreciation for the amount of care and work involved here. Lady Chrystel is not just a craftswoman, but an artist as well. Thank you for sharing.

It must be tough being the chief consort, but you obviously a good one...LOL and for her to find the time to make kilts, is amazing.... she does beautiful work, and I appreciate the candid shots of her working on a labor of love.

I here I thought that she'd be working on MY kilt!

Seriously, thanks for the photos - nice to see what goes into the process of making a kilt. I know mine will get done when it's time, and not before.

Thanks Robert for posting these pictures. I thought it might be neat to keep them all on my computer as a pictorial history of my first double box pleated kilt. As long as you don't mind me running of with your pictures that is.
I have always tempered my killing with respect for the game pursued. I see the animal not only as a target but as a living creature with more freedom than I will ever have. I take that life if I can, with regret as well as joy, and with the sure knowledge that nature's ways of fang and claw or exposure and starvation are a far crueler fate than I bestow. - Fred Bear

We were hoping you would want to save these pictures in your personal album !
Please consider them yours to keep, cherish and use as you wish.
After all, a first Lady Chrystel kilt is always a major step ahead in one's kilted life ! (but then, so is the second L.C. kilt ,and the third ! )

Canada's national tartan, expertly built in France to be worn proudly in the United States! Hmmm , we are a sophisticated bunch.
