I'm sure you have Rex. He was also the drummie at Kentucky Scottish Weekend. When he's not being the drummie, he plays pipes with the Nashville Pipes & Drums. He always looks sharp when he's in uniform.
Nice pics Heathbar!
The crowd was down quite a bit from years past, which is somewhat alarming considering that Glasgow is the largest of the three highland games in Kentucky (the other two being Kentucky Scottish Weekend, Carrollton and West Kentucky Highland Festival, Murray). On the other hand, it's not all that surprising since it's not near any of the larger population centers in the state - none of them are.
I'm sorry I didn't get a chance to meet up with anyone - too darn busy with the P&D contest Saturday, then piping duties on Sunday. I did see you there on Sunday, Heathbar. (I was the only male piper - one of three pipers on SUnday - with the Louisville Pipe Band contingent, doing the 'duty band' thing for the gathering of the clans.) I didn't stick around after we were dismissed because Sunday was Mom's birthday - I had to hightail it back home to make a cookout that evening.

Sad that numbers were down but it looks like those who did attend had a good time.

There's no doubt that at Glasgow, you will have a good time. There was something for everyone. We had no less than 6 different music acts. And I didn't even tell you what all they had for the kiddos. I've not seen a games so dedicated to making sure the kids have fun.
