I'm one of those who finds the elastic garters a bit uncomfortable and prefer the traditional tie.

I agree with Sir Rex on this one, I have mine adjusted just enough to hold the Hose from slipping. And to keep the Sgain from flopping around during a quick dash to the food wagon!

Started with the elastic and made the switch to the traditional ties... have no plans to ever go back. The traditional flashes are just 'way too comfortable and easy to use. No comparison, for me.

Because of my large calfs the elastic one eat into my leg and are uncomfortable almost immediately. Traditional garter ties are the only way, if not the only comfortable way to go.

Doesn't anyone sell elastic garters that are big enough for larger calves? Between the Jocks and the Men Of Substance, I think there would be adequate demand to produce them.

Look good to me. I personally prefer the V-notch flashes and have no problem with elastic. Why not buy a pair and review them for is?

I just bought the "normal" garter flashes from kiltsandmore. While their kilt hose is a no go for me (can't even get them to mid-calf) the garters are no problem. I tried them on for about an hour and didn't feel them at all, no pain, no constriction.

I actually picked up a set almost identical to these on ebay a couple weeks ago for those kilt/hose combos that I don't have a good flashes match for, figuring they would cover most bases. Haven't worn them yet but on inspection they are identical to my other elastic garters, which I have no problems with wearing.
