Kilted all day in a new outfit

Went to work and even made a business "Mixer" at the Hot Springs, AR. Chamber of Commerce afterwards. Had the wife take a picture when I got home.
I have beenworking on this outfit for some time. Obviously some of the accessories I've had for some time. The Kilt, hose and sporran were planed in my "minds eye". The jacket sale, just fell into place. The shoes and jacket I found out about from threads on this forum.

The Kilt is County Cavin, One of two new kilts made by Matt Newsome

The Hose where made to match by Skye Highland Outfitters (Yes, I sent a swatch, when I knew Matt was getting close.)

Jacket was one of the sale Harris Tweed jackets from Jos A. Bank converted by Victoria (VMAC 3205)

Sporran (you can just see it) is the Waterhorse by wyverrleatherworks.com

Tartan tie and green garters from The Scottish Tartan Museum

Brown Ghillies and kilt pin--I don't remember

The brown belt with brass buckel is one of the first purchases I made, from SWK.

Oh, and the shovel is from Walmart!

Buckskin, Your choice of "business attire" is "Right On". You defiantly have given the "look" a lot of thought. Your choice of "crafts people" was, GREAT.

What was the "reaction" from your "Peers" ??

Buck, the outfit looks great. I am glad to see that the JosABank tweed jacket sale worked out so well being turned into a kilt jacket by vmac. After I got mine originally I had some concerns about how convertib;e they might end up being because of the pocket position and design, but vmac made yours look great.

    Well done you.
