Ok - here's an update on hair canvas.

Sydnie sent me a piece of her Acro (HTCW style #87007, which is 33% viscose, 20% wool, 17% polyester, 13% hair, 17% cotton), and it isn't as heavy as the Tailor's Pride that I have. If Tailor's Pride winds up being discontinued, it would be possible to double the Acro, but I wouldn't be happy about it.

I have two different versions of Tailor's Pride that I've gotten over the past couple of years:

-My favorite is HTC style #87003. It has 41% acrylic, 19% hair, 16% polyester, 15% viscose, and 9% cotton. I got this bolt several years ago, and it's _not_ the Tailor's Pride that I've received recently when I've ordered bolts of Tailor's Pride.

-The Tailor's Pride the I bought last year from Vogue Fabrics is also very nice. It's HTCW style #87009 and has 40% cotton, 33% hair, and 27% rayon.

-The Tailor's Pride bolt that I just got yesterday from Banasch's is exactly the same style # (87009) and fiber content as the one I got from Vogue Fabrics last year, but it is _not_ quite as heavy as the older Tailor's Pride (kind of midway between Acro and the old Tailor's Pride). Probably made by a different mill. It's still heavier, though than the Acro.

So, it's a bit of a mess. I think that, if you can find any Tailor's Pride left in a store, you should buy it. Who knows what will be available in the future.

I'll keep sleuthing!
