I had a great time in Arlington, yesterday. It was a pleasure seeing Jack Daw, again, as well as meeting the other X Marks members. I wish I could have stayed longer, but my work committments are calling.
I had a chuckle with a couple of comments about my kilt, though. I wore my Saffron, and a couple ladies thought it was cool, I was the only one there in a Texas Longhorn kilt. A couple others made similar references to the burnt orange kilt.
All in all, it was a good day, exploring all the vendor booths, watching the different musical performances, snacking on the grub available, and all the other events available. I found a couple trinkets, I just had to have, and seen many others. I would like to have owned. I met some nice forum members, and had enjoyable conversation. Thank you.. I really enjoyed myself... I look foreward to meeting everyone, again, hopefully at a coming kilt night.

I thought I saw Wolfgore but it wasn't him. Didn't see anybody else I don't think.
It was a great day yesterday. The pooch got all the attention. My step brother and father both enjoyed the kilts I made for them so that was a major plus. The Killdares out on a really good show as always and we finally bought their CD's.
I'll post some pictures later.

Wishing I could have been there but I came down with a furious chest cold. Sorry I missed it and the chance to meet a few of you.

There was a group shot?
Unlike last year's games, I actually did (eventually) meet some Xmarkers this time: Wolfhawk, kscaddo, and medic78. I was looking for McMathTX and Jack Daw as well, but I don't think I saw them. Unfortunately, the fact that attworth would be wearing a Seaforth kilt somehow escaped me. I saw a Mackenzie kilt pleated to the white stripe shortly before I headed out. It caught my fancy, especially as I had seen so few kilts pleated to the stripe that day, and I almost said something to its wearer, but then thought better of it.
I took quite a few pictures, but not nearly as many as last year, partly because the battery gave out. I'll be posting them today or tomorrow or, if not, Saturday or next week. (I'm going to be at Scout Camp at Possum Kingdom Lake from Wednesday to Friday.)

I didn't see it happen, but I recall hearing a roar from the audience around the north athletic field while I was hanging out at the Stewart tent. I imagine that's what caused it.

Hey guys,
Sorry to be tardy in posting the "group photos" taken at the event, but I accidentally left my camera in Corsicana and won't be able to retrieve it 'til the end of the week. I'll post them as soon as I get the camera back.
It was a pleasure meeting some Xmarkers I'd not met before (Peacekeeper83, kscaddo, Wolfhawk) and seeing some familiar faces as well (JackDaw).
Promise I'll post the photos ASAP (and Dan, I'll email you yours of you in your saffron as well).
