    Congratulations.

Is this really Lovat green or is it Moss green ?

    Best,

I thought Moss Green was a bit darker, I could be wrong.

    Thanks for the kind words

Thanks to all for your compliments.
Robert and McMurdo, it is listed as Lovat Green on the Scottishkilts.net website. It is very versitile. I wear it with the Saffron, with my Hay Ancient, and with a green kilt I have as well. Perfect for day wear.

The only problem I have is with the waistcoat. I ordered a long jacket and a long waistcoat. I feel the waistcoat comes down a bit too far or I wear my sporrran too high. I'd like to find a tailor that could shorten it by an inch. I have the same problem with my waistcoat for my black Argyll.

Scottishkilts.net was having a sale late in 2008 and I got this 5 yard IOS and a 5 yard Holyrood for a very good price. (I really like the Holyrood tartan too!)

I'm glad to see so many IOS tartans out there. I'm taking this one to the states with me Wednesday.

    Tom
