It appears to me that Honour of Scotland has no green stripe in it. The others clearly do.

Panache has mentioned that his kilt in this tartan (or one of these varieties) gets more comments than all his other kilts combined. I don't get it.

The Honour of Scotland and Pride of Scotland are the same tartan. I see no difference at all in them.

The only difference... 1 is a copyrighted tartan by MacColls and the other is a 'poor quality knock off'. Here's the notes from the STA:

[SNIP]Design owned by McCalls of Aberdeen. Woven exclusively by Lochcarron of Scotland. [SNIP]

When the files transferred over from the STA's database to the National Tartan Registry, the 'copyright' part wasn't 100% (or even 10%) correct. They're MANUALLy fixing it, but it could take time to verify all the copyrighted tartans. For instance, ALL of the tartans registered under USAKilts were not marked as Copyrighted (although that's been fixed and they are now).

This is another case of 'Isle of Skye' vs. 'Bright Skye'. The only difference is this one's been happening for years and no one (MacColls or Lochcarron) has put their foot down on it.
