I just got signed up on Twitter the other day. Not the most creative of networking sites is it? I think I'll stick to this forum and text messaging. But it's always cool when someone notices another in a kilt...not that that would be a hard thing to do....

It can be useful if you use something like Tweetdeck to filter the Twitter stream. I have filters for 'kilts' 'bagpipes' and personal interest stuff like my college, my city, etc.
so, I mostly see tweets I am interested in seeing.
