With apologies to Jenny Joseph and "Warning" from the Red Hat Society

When I am an old kiltie I shall wear purple
With a red hat which doesn't go, and doesn't suit me.
And I shall spend my pension on single malt and sporrans
And ghillie brogues, and say we've no money for butter.
I shall sit down on the pavement when I'm tired
And gobble up samples in shops and press alarm bells
And run my stick along the public railings
And make up for the sobriety of my youth.
I shall go out in my slippers in the rain
And pick flowers in other people's gardens
    And learn to spit.

    Brian

    Nice, jamie.

Where do you get the French style berets? I've noticed before that you sometimes wear berets that pull to the left in the French style.

    Jim,

Most of my berets are very inexpensive ($10) simple wool ones from The Hat Shop in Santa Cruz.

That particular beret with it's cracked leather band I have had for well over 20 years!

The little hip young men's shop I purchased it at has long since closed, but it remains a sentimental favorite of mine.

    Cheers

    Ron,

Our weather in the Bay Area has been mild as of late.

Plus I have that whole Moderator sangfroid going for me!

    Cheers
