Looking for some help,please
My Mom recently passed and being the only one within a six hundred miles the duty has fallen to me. After struggling with coroners, crematories, death certificates, banks, priest and church schedules all while trying to get a service organized and the like, and more than a few 500 mile round trips, I finally have Mom back. Now we are going to have a memorial service next Saturday. Obituary has been written and will be published on Sunday... Various friends and relatives have been notified..I am working on the prayers and readings...thinking about music...order has been put into the local deli for food and on and on...but it just dawned on me that there is normally a program or flyer handed out at the service...thus another dilemma for me. I spent some time looking for template or a design or whatever that I could download or copy to make a small handout... can anybody help, please. I tried designing something this morning and my skills are definitely lacking...And to keep in the vein of this Brotherhood, I will be giving the eulogy kilted in Vancouver USA and my youngest will also be garbed appropriately. God be good to her.
Thanks so much
Rob

Very sorry to hear of your Mother's passing; it's difficult duty and especially so when facing it alone. My thoughts and prayers are with you.

Sorry to hear of your loss. May you forget the pain and remember the love. As to your flyer issue, the best I can recommend right off the top of my head would be to grab a copy of Print Shop. I know it's $30 you don't really want to spend right now, especially with the costs already associated with your loss, so I hope someone else has a better suggestion.
Wishing you the best in this difficult time.

I'm sorry to hear of your mother's passing. Hopefully, the 'busyness' of planning the memorial will help you through the grieving with less pain and sadness.
If you use Microsoft software, there are several templates for wedding programs on their site that you might be able to adapt, for example, replacing text like "celebrating the marriage of ..." with "celebrating the life of ..." and replacing information about the bride and groom with information about your mother's life and accomplishments.
Best wishes getting through all of this.

Thank you
All:
Thank you for your best wishes...what a place this is!!! A member has graciously offered his graphic design talent to get this issue off my list. I just need to confer with the other siblings and it should be a go. The little things that you just don't think of...I just now came home from another funeral Mass and this was another good thing...because I had forgotten about the sign-in book....The priest asked if I was there to play the pipes..bet you can't guess what I was wearing...you're right...the infamous XMARKS tartan Freedom kilt!
Again, your kind words, thoughts and prayers are greatly appreciated.
