Thank you everyone for the pictures and the comments. Keep them coming. I really like what I see so far. Maybe we will have to start a socail group for those who enjoy smoking pipes or those who enjoy the smell of a good pipe? What does everyone think?

While cigars are my mainstay, I definitely enjoy a good pipe now and then. I haven't smoked one kilted in awhile and I don't have anyone to take the pictures when I do. Liking the thread though.

Tongue in cheek? Looks more like "pipe in hand" to me.

Just because you are paranoid doesn't mean they aren't out to get you.

Although I don't smoke one, I love the smell. I always get a lungful if I pass downwind of a pipesmoker on the street. Everything about it appeals in fact, except the health implications. If I'm in good health by 65, I'll take it up then~ I figure any bad it does me will be outweighed by the effects of age!

Here I am with today's favorite (one of six favorites I have)- a Stanwell Hans Christian Anderson churchwarden half filled with McClelland's Frog Morton, in USAK American Heritage

Until then I have a few my Dad gave me when he gave up smoking
I don't smoke often, but when I do I make the most of it...

Ohhhh... Aaaahhhh! Very nice indeed. I would love to have a churchwarden. I like that Irish brand that I can't remember the name of...
Although not kilted here (shoulda been- DOH), this here's my favourite pipe. It's a 1993 Christmas Pipe, made in Italy. I was told on one occasion by a crusty ole tobacconists that the Christmas pipes are quite valuable (~$150), but I remain skeptical. Nice smokin' though!

When My Ship Comes in... I'll be at the Bus Station.
Here's one that should almost fit the bill... Just an old Dr Grabow pipe, but very close to my ideal for pipe shape. Don't think I even have this one anymore...?
Anyway... this is way back to Christmas 2000 at Fitchburg Iron Furnace, Estill Co Kentucke (God's Country as my Gran'daddy used to say). Kinda hard to get a good shot of the kilt and the pipe...
