Waiters in Kilts
Has anyone visited Mr. Singh's India, a well known restaurant in the west end of Glasgow. As well as serving a good curry, all the waiters wear kilts, this has been the practice for quite a few years.
It probably is a good example of complete integration of the Indian culture with the Scottish culture. Certainly it is a very popular restaurant and all it customers welcome the kilted uniform of the waiters

I would love to go there for the food but it sounds like the atmosphere is just as inviting.

I have always wanted to dine at a place where I would have a Kilted waiter. Now I know where to go live my dream.

Well, Glen, whenever you get to Cincinnati, I know just the place (unless you're really hungry for curry).

Nicholson's is a great restaurant. The food, the atmosphere, and the location.

Couldn't help but think of the place in Cincinnati. The night Mrs. Kiltman and I were there with Rex and some others almost everyone was in a kilt.

I've been to Nicholson's before, and while I absolutely loved it, I don't recall the staff being kilted. Perhaps I'm just not remembering correctly, but I would think I'd remember something like that as I wasn't a kiltie yet when I was there. I do remember the food being outstanding, and the beer wasn't bad either.

There in an English pub in Beavercreek(Dayton), OH called "The Pub." The waiters wear kilts. There is another one (same chain) here in Cincinnati, but they don't wear kilts.

The famous Scottish restaurant of NYC, St. Andrew's, boasts a kilted waiter, but that's it, he's the only male on the staff who's kilted.
