I've seen Desert Bighorn at Anza Borrego while hiking around in my kilt... Couple of Bald Eagles and a couple of osprey.
I love osprey, BTW. And assorted lizards and snakes and so on.

You could hear this critter when it was running on the backpack. Both pics of same spider.
That's not something you want running up your kilt!

My back yard and one side of my driveway face fully wooded areas.
So while I’m kilted outdoors at home I see:
Raccoon
Deer
Fox
(Eastern USA) Coyote
Grey Squirrel
Black Squirrel
Chipmunk
Groundhog
Field Mice
Shrew
All manner of birds, from hummingbirds up to owls and hawks.
I think I saw a Golden Eagle once.

NOT counting the "humans" or our avian population, living here in the PNW, seeing wild life is common place. Even in urban locals, such as SEATTLE, squirrels, coyotes, raccoons, etc are regularly seen ( recently a bear was roaming around, I did not see it.) In the suburbs, where I live, all of the above etc. This week, I saw a coyote, squirrels, & a possum.
I also saw, this month@ our range, ( located in a "rural area ), A bear, a coyote, several elk & deer. ( plus the "spoor" of one of resident cougars. )
Here is a picture of some deer ( taken a few months ago.)
