    Running Kilted

So, coming up next week is the annual Race Judicata, a race run by a volunteer law group in Chicago that provides representation for indigent clients. I have registered myself, and a few others, as a team for my law firm. I am running, and trying to persuade the other men to run, kilted. I have a few thrifty kilts that will work nicely as running gear.

What's more, entering as a team allows us to participate in the t-shirt contest. I have put together a t-shirt with the race name, and year (as per the t-shirt contest rules), and a little slogan and image. I love the idea of a bunch of people running in kilts and these t-shirts.

    Here's the design:

The other side of the t-shirt has my law firm's name, website and practice areas. The font and color are the ones my law firm uses. I'd like to get people's opinion on this. If you don't like it, why, and how would you change it. If you do like it, then feel free to say so! Also, if you have any tips on running kilted, that would be very helpful too.

The kilt in the image is slightly long - if you run in a kilt that is just long enough to be caught as you bend your knee it is very uncomfortable - in the rain or otherwise wetted it can take the skin off - particularly if the kilt has a hem.

I like it a lot; it is simple and to the point. As for running, stay hydrated, stretch before and if you are not a regular runner, take it easy.

    I like it.

As Bubba, a member here would say, it is easier to run with your Kilt up than your pants down.

Nice t shirt. It is a good cause, and good luck. Any extra shirts? Some of the rabble might be interested in purchasing one from you....

    Cheers!

Great t-shirt design. In Seattle there is a Kilt Race around Memorial Day timeframe where everyone is kilted. You'd fit right in!
Good luck in the race and remember the Regiment and take no prisoners!

Great idea on the t-shirt. I wouldn't change a thing. I second planemaker with offering extra shirts for sale ... I know I would buy one. Send me a PM if you sell any extras.

I like your design, but if you don't mind a suggestion... which is nothing more than my opinion.. how about the kilted guy wearing running shoes? everything remains the same... just the shoes... makes the running for the cause, literal...

I like it - I hope you either win the race or the t-shirt competition. Or maybe even both.

    Regards
