I'd say Rob Roy. As much as I love Tunes of Glory (and I really do), it's not as exciting (action and adventure-wise) as Rob Roy.

Another vote for ROB ROY but then I'm partial to it as that is where I took my screen name from:

    Montrose to the fop:
"Ah, here comes the Bold Highlander.
    No **** in his breeks
but too proud to tug his forelock."

    and another of my faves:

    Montrose:
    "You are damned, McGregor.
    Damned to hell."

    Rob Roy:
    "Come, Your Lordship.
    Leave the devil some work."

On the flip side of that, Rob Roy isn't exactly the most family-friendly film.

You know, there's a pretty good version of Rob Roy made by Disney in 1953 (it's live action). Check out Rob Roy, the Highland Rogue. It has all of the action and excitement while still being family friendly!

I'll add my vote to Rob Roy The Highland Rogue. I always used to watch that as a kid. I can't say that I've seen Tunes of Glory, though.

    Todd:

I was going to say the same thing about it. I'd give a very big "no" to Rob Roy. I agree with Tunes of Glory, but it's such a psychological film; not very up-beat there toward the end. It's still a good choice though. I think Mrs. Brown is a very good idea, and the one I'd choose. Of course, if you like musicals, there's always Brigadoon!

I'll have to cast my vote for "Tunes of Glory"
