Congratulations on the kilt! Be warned, kilts tend to get lonely. Before long you'll yourself on your way to getting a second one, and then a third one.... and so the addiction will begin. I speak from experience. I started with one in April and now here it is 3 months later and I'm up to 5 with number 6 in the mail.

I absolutely love that tartan! I've been looking for a black with red for a wee while!
What tartan is it?

My apologies! In all my excitement for my new kilt and confusion over my initial post, I forgot the credits!
Tartan: Crawford Modern- most of the swatches I have seen were brighter than this, but I prefer the darker red and green with white.
Kiltmaker: The Celtic Croft I can't remember where I learned of them, but I have seen an occasional link to their site on this site. I chose a phillabeg in their homespun tartan for both availability and economy, but am well pleased with the final product.
Sporran: This is an embossed black leather sporran with a spike closure that is readily available from The Celtic Croft
Geeze, I'm starting to sound like a fashion show announcer! BTW-If anyone calls Joseph or Lorie, or Steve (for putting up with my annoying weekly calls-lol) tell them I am totally in love with my kilt and look forward to doing more business with them! They were such a great help in ordering my first kilt and making sure I didn't make any serious blunders with my order.

They are a god group of people, and no doubt. A lot of the decor in my home has come from them.
