Here's a picture that I discovered in a family album that belonged to my maternal grandmother. The picture was taken circa 1890 in Alpena, Michigan. I don't have a name with the picture. An assumption would be that he is a family member of the McRae family -- my grandmother was a McRae -- her parents were Adaline and Duncan McRae. I would be interested in any comments about the picture.

I'm really digging that sword. Scottish hand-and-a-half swords are rarely seen and very little known, but they do indeed exist.
