P.S. Although I know it's unwise to antagonize one's father-in-law, the above revelation sort of makes me want to wear my kilt more often around him!
I don't think I could resist, either. I might confront him about it - ask him why. But, that would probably drop your wife into it, so on second thoughts, no.
