How to post a photo?

This is the first I have tried to post a photo, but without success.

I have placed a photo on Photobucket and I now need to know how to place it in a forum post. I need to know the proper [img] code that needs to be in front of and at the end of the photobucket code. I know [img] needs to be there, but I'm missing something. I copied the phototbucket code over and I hit preview and all I see is the photobucket code. HELP !

Ok in photobucket under the photo, when you put your mouse over it, you will see a few boxes, what you want to do is copy the bottom one the IMG code and paste it in your message

Thanks again. That's what I tried to do, and this is what I get:

I also put [img] in front of and behind the photobucket code. Still no photo.

On photobucket the [img] shows up, but it doesn't appear when I paste it on X Marks.

McMurdo,

I tried again and it worked this time. I had to click another button to generate the code. It was much shorter than what was showing up right under the photo as an [img] code.

This is my first attempt at posting. Now I need to remember what I did.
