    A really nice shirt is made by Filson (www.filson.com). Check out their safari cloth shirt, and I think they now have a bush shirt with eqaulets. While not really military shirts, they still have that classic look that goes well with kilts.

    Eddie Bauer makes a nice shirt that compares to those from LL Bean, but I've heard that they have been closing a lot of stores of late.

    Just my personal opinion, but I think Bean's quality is better than Eddie Bauer's. EB started to go down hill when they tried to be "trendy".
