I was an Extra in that movie,(New Waterford is on Cape Breton Island, N.S.) Quite a few movies were made here on the island, I worked on them all. There was Margarets Museum (Helena Bonham Carter) The Bay Boy (Kiefer Sutherland,) Squanto a Warriors Tale (Adam Beach) and The Widow of Saint-Pierre (nominated for a Golden Globe) (I got 2 close ups in the widow movie)

Yes, yes...I've learned that most people SOUTH of the border think that Nova Scotia (and PEI and Newfoundland) is an imaginary magical land, akin to Narnia, where gnomes and unicorns live and where rainbows are born. Well, rainbows (indeed all good things) are born there, but that's another story.
