Kilted Bowling
Recently my rogue and I were "volonteered" to join a bowling legue. My rogue jokingly said if they weren't careful he would come in his kilt. This got me to thinking. How difficult would it be for him to bowl in his kilt? have any of you done it?

It shouldn't be difficult to do, but I don;t think I'd do it. Bowling alleys (in my experience) are usually smoky places, and I don't want my kilt to smell like smoke. I smoke a pipe every great once in a while, but not kilted for the reason above.
If he does go kilted, he'll have a devil of a time matching bowling shoes to his tartan and hose!

I've done it, but with limited success. My sort of flamboyant release style made it "potentially not good for the spectators" according to my friends. Your mileage my vary! It is a great psych out tool though!

I've done it, and it was great fun, too. Regarding the smoke issue, that's why I wore a USAK in PV . . . and popped it in the laundry that evening when we were back home. Despite my fondness for wool (worsted or tweed), there's a lot to say for PV.

One of my threads has been referenced to by someone other than me....I feelz special ![Kilt Dance](http://www.xmarksthescot.com/forum/images/smilies/kiltdance.gif)
Bowling in a wool kilt wasn't a problem and we took quite a few pictures trying to get the right shot.....a lot of exaggerated movements so regimental would probably be safe. ![Razz](http://www.xmarksthescot.com/forum/images/smilies/icon_razz.gif)

I kept meaning to go looking for this... I remembered seeing a thread a while back. The Sonoran Scotsmen had a kilted bowling night:
