Some of the nicest and most comfortable shoes I have worn are made by Crockett and Jones. While they are certainly not inexpensive, like all good shoes that are well treated they will last for decades. I like the longer lasts of some of their styles. They tend to be quite elegant looking and fit so comfortably.
My father taught me that a gentleman is always well-shod. It's worth every penny to get the best shoes you can, because if your feet are happy, you are happy!
