True-- and quite frankly if they did, I'd have to put them on the hate list as well. The theme here is that I hate things that fly above my head or in my face, especially if it is in a spastic motion (i.e. moths)

Holy Cow! The same thing happened to my husband and I while we were driving through Arizona/Utah, we actually hit an owl! We were just barely moving though, so no harm done, but we were completely dumbstruck, it was such an odd experience! I guess I always assumed that they were more graceful fliers

We have several fruitless mulberry's where during the summer we get a couple of family units of bats. Mostly Mexican Free-tails, but occasionally other kinds. All summer long we enjoy them putting on their aerial ballet, and listen to them "talk". Bats are just too cool.
It's really fun when Mama is teach the babies how to hunt, boy you talk about aerobatics! We'll see them for another couple of weeks then they will be headed back south. Neat stuff! ith:
