Gotta agree with the others about baby talk being an irrevocable topic, once it is broached. Best you can do is try to guide it in a direction that will allow you similar happiness---so get the kid a kilt when the time arrives. Sorry, gents but this type of male logic will not work if the woman in question has actually internally initiated the "motherhood launch" sequence. In fact, any exposure to any babies once the "sequence" has been initiated will only speed up the count down.

The good news, dow, is that once you've kitted out the baby in a "tartan-of-your-choice" kilt, it's a pretty easy case to make that you need a kilt in that too.

That is why I pointed out it has to be a totally annoying ugly baby, these type will actually work. Getting a cute little angel obviously would never work and would be counter productive. You need a screaming crapping machine with a face only a myopic mother could love to get away with this.
