Saturday, while I was at the VA Scottish Games listening to a group at the Fiddlers’ Tent, I noticed a banner that stated, Royal Mile Pub – Change of Ownership Party, Wednesday September 9th! So this post is to give those of you who have attended this fine pub over the years a heads up.

I had learned of the pending sale when Meinfs hosted a Kilt Night in early July there for the wee airship, the Saltire. I was really shocked since at the Rabbie Burns Dinner, the buzz was the son who is a graduate from culinary school was taking over from Mom & Dad.

The Royal Mile Pub website, page Our Story has been changed but doesn’t say anything about the new owners. I’m not running up 95 for this, but posting this to let all of you know. If some of you decide to attend let us know and I might be tempted to take that grueling drive.
