The orientation of grooms and celebrant seemed unconventional (at least to this auld school Episcopalian) but very effective? I'm curious if that is the tradition in that particular church, or of your own device? It did remind me a little of when priests used to say the entire mass facing the altar- and with their back to the congregation (and likely all in latin to boot). Not that I've ever experienced that personally, but being a student of medieval history and all...

I made the kilts for both grooms, best men and ring boys. My husband made the ties. We couldn't afford sporrans for everyone so we didn't do them. I kinda of wished I had found the money for four more. If we got married today I'd have almost enough to just supply everyone from my own supplies.
