By coincidence, I will be in Memphis attending to some personal business on Friday. So, I have decided to extend my stay an extra day to attend the Saturday Clanjamfry held in the town of my birth. This will be my first visit!

Ah, I see on the website that there is no 'MacIntyre' among the clans. Perhaps next year I can remedy that.

I hope to be there on Saturday, God and my wife willing! This will be my first event. I really don't know what to expect.

Another note, I hope to be there with my trusty Nikon point and shoot with its 15x zoom photo-sniper lens!

I did take my Nikon and took some candid pics of Dirk Skene as well as the festival. I'll post those pics in the other thread perhaps this weekend. I enjoyed this small, but growing, event and would like to return (and, maybe host for Clan MacIntyre).

I'd like to add that The Sallymacs, a Celtic rock band, performed and were very impressive and entertaining. As was Legacy, a traditional Irish folk group. I bought a total of 6 CDs from these two groups and listened to them all on the early drive back to Houston the next morning.
