    crest embroidery?

    Greetings,

Anyone know a source that will embroider a clan crest on an item of clothing (a chef's jacket, in particular)? I can either send a new item or buy one from them (if available).

    Thanks,
    Richard

Any screen printing/embroidery shop should be able to do it for you. Be prepared to pay for it, though.
You might email the president/commissioner/webmaster of your clan to find out if the crest has been digitized. If so, the cost for a single item will be less than if it hasn't been digitized already. Also, some clans sell embroidered patches that can be sewn onto anything that you can put a needle through.

    Good luck!

I do have a computer controlled embroidery machine and have the belt & Buckle for a Clan Crest in the memory. With a little work I can produce any Clan Crest on almost any clothing item.

You would need to send me the item you want the crest on and email me with the specifics of the crest you want such as Clan name and color.

    If this will help you please email me at;

    steve@freedomkilts.com

For an example of the type of crest my machine is capable of please see the X Marks Clan Crest badge I did here.

I've used both Highland Embroidery, as mentioned by BEEDEE above (though I've had a bit of trouble placing orders through their website... Best to contact Steve Green by phone at 704-262-7783) and Monographics (http://www.monographics.net/pages/clan_crests.htm), out of Upland, California (contact Bob Sears at 909-949-2991) in the past for clan badge embroidery.

Not sure what Highland Embroidery would charge, but Bob told me that it was $16 for Monographics to embroider a clan badge on a shirt I provided, with a two-week turnaround from receipt fo the garment.

    Either should work!

    Hello Richard,

If you are looking for a good price on both a chef jacket and embroidery, I suggest to check out http://www.kng.com/wholesale/servlet...ng/Restaurant/ They have great prices with very high quality. They take care of a lot of restaurant chain business.

If you take a look at the website and you are interested, give them a call. My fiance actually does the digitizing there for the custom embroidered items. She will do a great job for you.

    I hope this is helpful.

    Slàinte!
    Shawn
