Fitbaw!
It's one of those threads... where I'm really keen to find out who likes what and why!
Just wondering if any of you guys support any Scottish football (soccer) team and why. I've included a poll with some SPL teams... please don't get offended if your team of choice isn't on it!
It is in truth not for glory, nor riches, nor honours that we are fighting, but for freedom -- for that alone, which no honest man gives up but with life itself.

Can't vote, I only support the All Blacks and whoever is beating Australia.
Brian
In a democracy it's your vote that counts; in feudalism, it's your Count that votes.

Hahah, not only is that not British, but it's not even the same sport!
I like Celtic because I'm a smart Bhoy!

I'm a Celtic supporter because I have many close friends who are Celtic supporters and that has influenced me and I am a Roy Keane fan.
Saying that I love watching a good Rangers Game, a Hearts game, etc. Good football is good football and that's what I like to watch. Beer goes better with football than that other crap anyway
For what it's worth, I have my All Blacks jersey an today. Good football (soccer) is up there with good rugby.

3 Tims so far... and I know Jimmys a Celtic fan!
I'm sure I remember someone on here saying they were a Jambo at some point. Will they admit it now with their team's poor start to the season?

As a born and bred Paisley buddy who left Paisley twenty years ago my choice is obviously St. Mirren. My late father was a lifelong St. Mirren supporter and I subscribed to MirrenMad e-mail newsletter so that he could keep abreast of the team's news while he stayed with me here in Hawick, and five years after his death I still receive the MirrenMad bulletins regularly. My father could remember the Saints winning the Scottish Cup in 1926 and 1959, I can well remember the festivities in Paisley when the team arrived in town with the cup in 1959 and again in 1987.
Regional Director for Scotland for Clan Cunningham International, and a Scottish Armiger.

That's a nice story behind the team choice. I like when people support a local team simply because they're local.
