As we decided at the BBQ/geocaching event on Sunday, we will make the effort to arrive Friday night.

The advantage: certainly at least 9 people.

The disadvantage: no donuts for you!

If I have to put up the tent in the dark, I'm counting on Elise to stand there and laugh at me!

We will be arriving after dark-could you share the info needed to find the gate/entrance, any secret passwords or handshakes needed or a code word to give to the ranger?

I hate to be the guy yelling "Hey! Are you the Farlanders?" at each campsite. Some campers are known to throw hot S'mores at people that are disruptive like that.

Some folks have dropped out of the camping plans. We need 9 campers to have the group site, and we're down to six for Friday night.

Everyone bring all extra tents and we can pitch them all over the group site to make our little rabble seem a mighty army. ith:

Who knows, a couple touring cyclists could show up, too. I told them the price of admission was an admission to knowing me.

I promise to offer any aid necessary for setting up tents in the dark. I can't promise there won't be ridicule, because you wouldn't know it's me if I kept my mouth shut!

The reservation is under Elise McFarland and we have the only group campsite in the joint. I don't think there will be anyone in the kiosk after seven or so. Usually there is information posted at the kiosk for late arriving campers.

Hot s'mores can be lethal. I'll have to keep that in mind in case I catch anyone hunting bush rabbits. Hmm. We are bringing some special s'more fixings to share.

Errant cyclists to swell the ranks might be a good thing! I think...

Ok, back to making the vat of chili for Saturday night. I don't know what Farlander's doing in the kitchen, and I think he might need supervision.
