    If you wear combat boots or any other 10" tall boot, it's been said, that wearing your hose scrunched down is the way to go... So if they are scrunched.. No flash.. But in any other case where the hose is left up, flash adds a bit of color and style to your kilt..

    Thanks much for the input. I've got an olive UK mocker, cream hose and navy blue flashes. I usually wear big logger style boots when out in the kilt, but I'll be at home tonight with some family over for dinner. I'll see what works, keeping in mind that the general consensus seems to be that if I have my hose up high flashes are a good way to add some more color.
