OK, as I don't have a copy of a good kilt making book, what are the conventions in regards to adjustments to sizes? Is there a number that you would normally add or subtract to the waist, hip, fell, or drop?
BTW, thanks for the kind comments. I'll pass on the praise of the hose to my dear and lovely. She is now getting ideas of knit sweaters that will go with the kilt. I prefer a cabled sweater, and she has a wonderful yarn in a nice dark green that will compliment the kilt nicely. Ahgh, I's a blest man.

Very impressive, you shouldn't say that its sloppy or that your items were cheap, it looks well together and looks as good as some of the more expensive stuff I've seen.
